There had been an
exceptionally hard frost over night and as I walked
through St Mary's church yard Hinckley around lunch
time it appeared to be as harsh as in the early
morning, what caught my attention was the way
the frost had clung on to the brush type needles of
these Scotts pines and highlighted the pattern of
them in front of the dark trunks of the trees.
