My sister and I were in Market Bosworth painting in
the park and we had chosen a view to paint which was
next to the lake. I had selected a view of grasses
and various trees a mixture of some soft green
deciduous and the lovely blue green of the dark
conifers, the evening light was pooling on to the
grass through the trees it was absolutely beautiful.
I painted for about an hour and then the rains came
and did they come so we decided to get back to the
car, well by the time we got back most of my paint
had been washed off the canvas so we packed up and
went to the pub instead. As I was all wet tired and
bedraggled I left the picture in the car over night
and what you see above is the result, I liked it so
much that I have left it untouched as I feel that
this result depicts how life can be sometime and its
not always best to be totally in control, mother
nature and the elements played a part in this and I
allow this with respect to their power.
